Ask Me While I'm HereHosted by Jennyffer Kurz

Private Legacy Sessions

Keep the voice you love.

A personalized, guided interview with someone dear to you — recorded so their stories, laughter and wisdom can be heard again and again.

An older hand and a younger hand held together beside a cup of tea

A gentle conversation, shaped around them

Sometimes the questions we most want to ask are the hardest to begin. A Legacy Session gives your family a quiet, guided space: Jennyffer helps shape thoughtful questions in advance, then leads a warm conversation at your loved one's pace.

It might be about growing up, falling in love, raising a family, the work they were proud of, or the things they want you to know. They decide what's shared.

Public or private — always their choice

Private Legacy Session

For your family alone. Not published, and not automatically used on the podcast.

Public podcast conversation

For guests who'd like to share their story more widely — only with their own clear agreement.

Questions families ask

Who are Legacy Sessions for?

Anyone whose story you'd like to keep — a parent, grandparent, partner, sibling, friend or mentor. People of any age and stage of life are welcome, including those living with serious illness.

Will our session be on the podcast?

No — not unless your loved one clearly chooses that. Private family sessions are not automatically public podcast content. If someone would like to share their story publicly, that's a separate conversation and a separate choice.

Does my loved one have to answer every question?

Never. Guests choose what they share. Any question can be skipped, and the pace is always theirs.

How do we prepare?

After you reach out, we'll talk through who the conversation is with, the memories and themes that matter most, and anything to gently avoid. You don't need to prepare anything formal.

Can I arrange a session for someone else?

Yes, you can start the inquiry. We'll only go ahead once your loved one has personally agreed to take part.

What about cost, scheduling and how we receive the recording?

These details are still being finalized, so we discuss them personally with each family. Please ask in your inquiry and we'll share what's possible for your situation.

Begin with a simple note

Tell us a little about who you'd like to honor. There's no commitment in asking.
